Il Popo Ratzo Throws Brazilian Arch Bishop Under The Bus

Though loved for his antics by anti choice fanatics, World wide, he has become a figure of derision in his home country of Brazil. This is the guy that excommunicated the mother of the little nine year old girl, pregnant with twins by her pedophile stepfather. Brazil has the most Catholics of any country in the World and they all hate this guy. The Pope today accepted the resignation of Brazilian Arch Bishop Jose Cardoso Sobrinho.

Pope backs off. Feeds his brother to the angry crowd. Typical cowardly Popish behavior. Also clueless, dorkish, too little and too late to do any good. Pro Lifer shitcanned, anal raper Bernard Law remains safely sheltered in the Vatican. Catholicism marches on.

anti-choice = anti-murder = anti-genocide = anti-Nazism

conversely:
choice = life

Your anti-Catholic hatred is thick. I still don't know why you hate us so much.

It seems if one were to actually read the story, there is another side to it:

"Bishops are required to submit a letter of resignation to the Pope on the completion of their 75th year, but accepting the resignation is at the discretion of the Pope. Archbishop Cardoso just turned 76 yesterday."

It's only because this was a recent controversy involving him, that it appears he was canned. Maybe the reason why he didn't seek a continuation because he was fed up with the lip-service his "brother" bishops give to pro-LIFE matters, and they cared more about the way the press portrays things. Hmmm... it seems he wasn't canned, just following the rules.

It continues:

"An international abortion lobby group was pushing the family to have the girl abort, apparently seeing the case as a golden opportunity to press for legal abortion in the nation. (read: an outside pro baby killing organization trying to influence that country's laws)

As a last-ditch effort to save the lives of the unborn twins, after the girl was moved by pro-abortion activists to an unknown location, the archbishop announced that those involved in procuring the abortions would suffer an automatic excommunication."
(read: they kidnapped the girl)

The Bishop rightly excommunicated the mother, as he should have according to Church Law for anyone procuring or helping someone procure an abortion. The horrid mother was complicit in the attempted murder of the unborn.

"The international anti-life media jumped on the announcement, portraying the archbishop as heartless and cruel. At first the archbishop was defended by his confreres in the episcopate locally and also by the Vatican's Prefect for the Congregation of Bishops Cardinal Battista Re.
(read: They did what they were supposed to do.)

The people didn't hate this guy, the media did, and convinced the sheople to do the same.

However, the relentless media attacks and falsifications, coupled with public denunciations from political leaders including Brazil's health minister as well as its President, began to affect even his brother bishops. (read: They later caved in to the pro-death media lies)

The most devastating rejection of Archbishop Cardoso's actions came from the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life in the pages of the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Without ever having consulted his brother Archbishop in Brazil, Archbishop Fisichella launched what has been seen as a scathing attack on Archbishop Cardoso. (read: His "brother bishop" over 10K miles away read about it in the morning paper, and not knowing any of the facts, caved in to the pro-death media lies.)

Fisichella's Vatican newspaper article implied that Archbishop Cardoso had not been caring enough for the rape victim, that he had "hastily" announced the excommunication and defended the abortionists from excommunication. Criticism from other bishops around the world followed with two French bishops and a Canadian cardinal chiming in. (read: Other wishy-washy bishops over 10K miles away read about it in the morning paper, and not knowing any of the facts, caved in to the pro-death media lies, and defended the baby-killers.)

When Archbishop Cardoso requested that he be permitted to defend himself in the pages of the Vatican newspaper, and correct factul errors present in Fisichella's article, his request was declined." (read: After being tried and convicted in the court of world-wide public opinion, he was judased by wishy-washy mealy-mouth handwringers wearing bishops cassocks, and never given the opportunity to defend himself.)

Despite all of Bishop Jose Cardoso Sobrinho heroic efforts, the girl was coerced into aborting the babies, anyway.

When viewed unfiltered, the Truth comes out.

I don't hate Catholics. I admire and live in harmony with most Catholics and most religious I know. I despise those who would force their own beliefs on others, while often not even adhering to those beliefs themselves.

If you feel you have the truth, never fail to impart it to others. Always live by it yourself. Never do more than that.

Once you stoop to coercion you enter the realm of tyranny and that is where the Catholic hierarchy and its stooges live. Cowards, tyrants, hypocritical old queens and perverts. They pollute the Church with their foulness. The laity must rise and drive them from God's Temple as Jesus scourged the money changers and condemned the Pharisees.

You claim to not hate us, but you write such hateful, horrid things about Catholics. I don't see a distinction, just because some are far away, and some are close. How do your Catholic friends feel about what you write about other Catholics? I highly doubt you would say such things about Orthodox Jews. Anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable bigotry. If I'm sitting here reading this and it looks like bigotry, sounds like bigotry, its bigotry.

We are all fallable, no matter who we are. We shouldn't let those who sin disturb our peace. Jesus showed us that there will always be corruption, and that we should not be surprised when we see it. After all, He chose Judas who betrayed Him, and he chose Peter, who denied him, as well as the rest who ran away in His most dire hour.

I agree that corruption should be driven out. Some bishops are corrupt. Most are not, and are well intentioned. Some are just misguided, like so many of us are today. Some of them succomb to external pressures, just as we do. Their's are just more visible. Being more charitble, and understanding of human frailty and sin will lead to a more peaceful life. Don't paint us all with such a broad brush, just as its unfair to paint the entire Navy as _____ just because one sailor commits some crime.

No one who walks into a Catholic Church, believer or otherwise, has the teachings of the Church forced downn their throats. I would like to know who is being coerced? As a faithful attendant, I see just the opposite. I see a Church leadership afraid to teach the true Faith. I see great ignorance of the Faith because no one will teach it. Those of us who are inclined to do so are frequently brushed off, ignored, or sometimes even told their services are not desired because their "faith is too strong".
