Is Your Boat Here ?

Mine is the second one up from the pier.

Here she is in better days. I was probably on the bridge. OOPS, no DSRV docked on the ass end. Wasn't me on that bridge.

I hate to see the first...The second is way good, especially knowing what she was up to after leaving MINSY.
I'm in a picture going the same way, a lot slowr, a lot smaller on Dolphin AGSS 555, Though only a lowly lookout, which meant exactly that going outside! Nie pic!!

reddog, how did you guys live space-wise in what was a WW2 boat with a nuclear reactor jammed inside?

I thought the sturgeon class was crowded.

It's all a matter of what you get used to. We hotracked. Never showered. Never washed clothes. Lived close. Traveled light.

All I ever took to sea, for three months, was a change of clothes,a toothbrush, a towel and 20 cartons of cigarettes. All the readers brought a lot of paperback books that just circulated around. There was always something to read.

Everybody got very tolerant, like a big family. I've never experienced anything like it. What little hazing or animosity that went on was very good natured.

I had a good time. I'd do it again except that it didn't pay anything.
