Punitive Head Freezing

The Iowa Court of Appeals has ordered that this old guy be dug up so that his head can be cut off and placed in cryogenic storage, even though he died almost a year and a half ago. His brain proteins, what's left of them, have probably also been denatured by embalming fluid.

What kind of sense does this make?

It looks like ALCOR doesn't want to pay a refund.

So, I die in a hospital and whisper to my wife that I want my head frozen upon death with ALCOR. How do you find *any* medical doctor to decapitate you? Within 2 to 15 minutes?

I've told my wife that I want my body donated to science since I am nominally a chemist. I hope she remembers.
