Largely forgotten now, he was a big star from the late 60s through the 70s.
My two favorites were Buster and Billie and The Baby Blue Marine, a TV movie of the week. He was real good in those two. He was good in a lot of stuff. If you want to see a real bad movie sometime, check out Sam Peckinpah's Vigilante force. He starred in that with Kris Kristofferson.
He was the best actor in Big Wednesday. It was OK. I don't love that movie as much as a lot of people my age.
